Short version: use UtilgruX on your own Macs, don't resell it or tamper with it, and understand that it's provided as is. Your data stays yours. See our Privacy Notice.

1. Agreement

These terms apply between you and IntegruX when you download, install or use UtilgruX, including its companion apps and this website. By using UtilgruX, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2. Your license

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use UtilgruX on Macs you own or control. You may not:

• Sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute UtilgruX, or any modified copy of it.
• Reverse engineer it or get around its license or edition checks, except where the law allows this.
• Use it to break the law or to harm, spy on or access other people's devices or data without permission.

UtilgruX includes open-source components, such as FFmpeg under the LGPL, which stay under their own licenses.

3. Your data

Your files and information stay yours and stay on your Mac. UtilgruX doesn't collect personal information. It keeps a scrubbed log on your Mac for debugging only. The Privacy Notice has the details.

4. Accounts

An account is optional. If you sign in, keep your sign-in secure. We may suspend accounts or developer access that are misused, and you can delete yours at any time.

5. Your system

Some tools change system settings, clean up files, or control windows and other apps, and only when you tell them to. Please review what a tool will do before you confirm it, and keep backups of anything important. You're responsible for how you use these tools.

6. Updates and changes

We may update, change or remove features, or stop offering UtilgruX. We may also update these terms, and we'll change the date above when we do. If you keep using UtilgruX after a change, you accept the new terms.

7. No warranty

UtilgruX is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We don't promise that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will suit every purpose.

8. Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, IntegruX isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, profits or time, that come from using UtilgruX. If we are liable for anything, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for UtilgruX, if any.

9. Ending

You can stop using UtilgruX and uninstall it at any time. If you break these terms, your license ends.

10. Trademarks

UtilgruX and IntegruX are names of IntegruX. UtilgruX is not affiliated with Apple Inc. or Microsoft. Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. Windows is a trademark of Microsoft.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, unless the law where you live says otherwise.
